About the villa

Samui Sanctuary Residence Villa One (Villa One) is a well equipped villa offering guests a luxurious home away from home in Koh Samui. With a relaxing al fresco lounge area, a private swimming pool and a gorgeous sunset view, this three bedroom villa is the perfect place for family and friends to relax and unwind away from the crowds.

Nestled above Choeng Mon beach, this gorgeous villa is a 3 minute drive from Choeng Mon's charming area which has a selection of Thai and Western restaurants. Villa One is also only a 12 minute drive to Fisherman's Village, a 10 min drive from Chaweng and a 15 min drive from the airport.

Arrival & departure

Check-in is 2pm.
If you are arriving earlier than this please contact us - if we don't have any departing guests we may be able to accommodate you.

Check out is 12pm.
Should you wish to leave later than this please contact us beforehand. If we have guests arriving it will be tricky but we can try!

Please let our villa manager know in advance when you will be arriving and leaving so she can check you in and out.

Appliance information

Air Conditioning
Each room has its own individual air-conditioning unit. The temperature of each can be controlled using the respective air conditioner remote control located in each room. We have also installed ceiling fans for days when air-conditioning is not needed.

Please be reminded to turn off the air conditioners when you are not in the room in order to conserve electricity.

Kitchen Equipment
Our kitchen is fully equipped. You'll find, amongst other things, a fridge with separate freezer, a microwave, an electric cook top, oven, toaster, Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine, milk frothier, high quality cookware, etc.

The Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine uses Dolce Gusto coffee pods and they can be bought locally from Tops Market which is located in the Central Festival Samui shopping mall. The instruction manual for the Dolce Gusto machine can be found on this link.

Laundry Appliances
The laundry room is located immediately to the right upon entering the villa. It is equipped with a separate washer and dryer. Please click on the links for the operation manuals for the the washer and dryer which are also located on top of each unit.

Television / DVD / Sound Bar
The taller Samsung remote controls the television. Select ON. The iptv remote controls the internet TV. All channel selection/changing is via this remote.

To watch iptv, change the input/source on the Samsung remote to HDMI1. Using the iptv remote, click on the home button. Select English, then select LIVE. Channel categories are on the left hand side while individual channels are on the right.

The Philips remote controls the DVD player. To watch a DVD, change the input/source on Samsung remote to HDMI2. To return to iptv, use Samsung remote input/source and select HDM1 (ensure iptv receiver is switched ON).

The shorter Samsung remote controls the Samsung Sound Bar. Instruction manual for the Sound Bar is located on this link.

Swimming Pool

Our local villa manager regularly checks the water quality but if you do have any questions or think there might be a problem with the filters or pumps then please let us know immediately and we'll get our villa manager around to take a look. Please do not attempt to fix anything yourself.

Wifi

Next to the TV you will find a white coloured wireless router providing high speed internet to the house. The wifi network and password is on a label on the router. Please note that the green glowing light should always be on. If it isn't then the connection is faulty. In this case please turn the unit off (button on side), wait 1 minute and then switch on again. If it fails after restarting please contact us. Do not attempt to fix it yourself.

Electricity will be charged extra based on usage at 7 baht kilowatt/hr. The villa manager will record the electricity meter reading on arrival and on departure with you. The electricity charge will be deducted from your deposit at the end of your stay. This is common practice in Thailand.
Please respect the environment and do not leave lights and air-conditioning on needlessly.

This is a non-smoking property. Please do not smoke anywhere in the property.

Please clean dishes after using them.

No loud music after 11pm (indoor and outdoor). Please be respectful of neighbors, some whom live here full time.

As usual, we charge a ‘security deposit’ in case of any damages. The deposit is THB15,000 (approximately USD480/EUR388 as of Feb 2018) for stays up to 21 nights, payable on arrival in cash to the villa manager. For longer stays, the deposit is THB30,000.
